Indygo Junction patterns
Posted on Sunday, June 6 2010 by Emma in category Sewing-patterns I SEEM to have been saying these were on their way for some time now, but I can finally announce that the first two Charlie's Aunt patterns for Indygo Junction are ready and will be available in shops and on websites very soon.
The Victory Bags have a practical 1940s wartime look, while the Streetcar Bags are based on the designs of the early 1950s when women carried everything (including their shoes) around with them in big bags. As most didn't have cars, they travelled on buses. The 50s was also when the film A Streetcar Named Desire came out, hence the double incentive behind the name.
For more information or to buy the patterns direct, you can go to www.indygojunctioninc.com but for the meantime I have pasted the covers below. I really hope you like them. I will also be setting up an Etsy shop to sell some of my patterns as downloads, alongside some lovely kits for textile jewellery and purses. Do email me and let me know what you think.
